Bakuchiol Correcting Balm combats dry skin and wrinkles.
A rich and nourishing, water-free balm designed for dry, sensitive and mature skin. Formulated with Sytenol® A bakuchiol, a plant-based alternative to retinol, which helps to even out skin tone, improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation.
Enriched with squalane, shea butter, golden jojoba oil and Ceramide NP, the balm helps strengthen the skin barrier, reduce moisture loss and protect the skin from dry indoor air and cold climates. The water-free formulation helps to lock in moisture and provides extra comfort, suppleness and protection.
Previously known as Kime Barrier Protecting Balm, the product has been renamed and has been repackaged to help preserve its quality even better. The formula contains the same key ingredients as before, and is now also enriched with ceramides for added support for the skin barrier.

Sytenol® A bakuchiol – a milder alternative to retinol
We use Sytenol® A, a patented and clinically studied form of bakuchiol developed by Sytheon. Bakuchiol is known to contribute to improved skin texture, more even skin tone and increased radiance, and is often used as a gentler alternative to retinol.
The ingredient also has antioxidant properties that help protect the skin against oxidative stress from environmental influences.
A clinical study published in the British Journal of Dermatology (Dhaliwal et al., 2019) showed that bakuchiol contributed to improvements in fine lines, pigmentation, and overall skin firmness after 12 weeks of use. The study also showed lower incidence of irritation and flaking compared to retinol.
